Indications for Use

Opalescence^™ whitening has been shown to effectively lighten the internal colors of teeth. In cases of tetracycline, adult monocycline stains and brown fluorosis discoloration, Opalescence whitening has obtained success of varying degrees. This is also true for discolorations caused by congenital, systemic, metabolic, pharmacological, traumatic or iatrogenic factors, erythroblastosis fetalis, jaundice and porphyria. Peroxide is a strong oxidizing agent. Bleaching occurs when the peroxide penetrates the enamel and dentin, oxidizing the offending stains within the tooth. Whitening occurs first and more rapidly with the enamel. For example, most tetracycline stains occur within the dentin and require more time to oxidize (whiten).^1,2

ViscoStat hemostatic is a 20% ferric sulfate equivalent solution with inert binding agents in a viscous, aqueous vehicle. It has a pH of ~1.0 and contains patented, fumed silica to limit the acidic activity, making it kind to hard and soft tissue.

Indications for Use

Indications for Use

A: tooth preparation:

1. Rinse thoroughly
2. Isolate teeth.
3. dry with oil and moisture-free air thoroughly

B: Acid etching:

Apply Etching Gel to tooth surfaces, provided with the etching gel delivery system. If using other gel etching systems consult the manufacturer’s instructions for proper  technique and recommended etching times. Allow 30-60 seconds for etching. Then rinse thoroughly.

C: Placement and Curing

1. Air dry.

For opening the occlusion of the patient
 Apply NU-LOK into the bite model or the maxillary molar teeth central fossa After final position, Curing light for about 20 seconds.

For band bonding
Apply the NU-LOK into the band, light curing for 2 seconds. Remove the extra NU-LOK from the teeth, Curing the light on the side of the band for about 20 seconds.

D: Storage and Use

1. Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat, light and ignition sources.
2. Don’t store material in proximity to eugenol-containing products as this may inhibit the proper adhesive curing.
3. This system is designed to be used at room temperature (20-25℃,68-77 oF). Storage between 2-27 oC /35-80oF Light Sensitive
4. Shelf life at room temperature is per the expiration date on the kit box. Rotate inventory to optimize shelf life.
