This means that the VALO light is capable of polymerizing all light-cured dental materials—including camphorquinone and the entire range of proprietary photoinitiators.</p>
<p>As the options for light-cured materials keep expanding, the composition of the materials becomes more and more varied. Aside from camphorquinone, many manufacturers have turned to other photoinitiators particularly for esthetic composites. Photoinitiators such as Lucerin and PPD require low-wavelength light for complete polymerization. <p>The aluminum construction is long-lasting, which eliminates the possibility of rust. The heating element is symmetrically engineered for even heat distribution throughout the thermoplastic material.</p>
<p>This machine is used to process bleaching trays, sports mouthguards, implant splints, temporary splints, custom impression trays, denture bases, copings, temporary crowns and bridges, and orthodontic appliances.</p>

All lenses are secured to the VALO light head by a strong magnet inside the lens housing and are compatible with both VALO and VALO Cordless curing lights. Note: Lenses are not yet available for the VALO Grand curing light.

</strong>This magnetic lens provides pinpoint curing of small composites and is helpful for tack curing veneers. (Not yet available for VALO Grand light.)</p>
<p class="h1"><strong style="font-size: 16px">TransLume Lenses (Green and Orange)<br />
</strong><span style="font-size: 16px">The green lens aids in locating and demonstrating cracks and subsurface differences. The penetrating ability of the orange lens shows the obstruction to light caused by posts or internal bubbles. (Not yet available for VALO Grand light.)</span></p>

<p class="h1"><strong>ProxiCure Ball Lenses<br />
</strong>ProxiCure Ball lenses facilitate the building of convex proximal contacts. The imprint is easily filled with composite in a second step. Push the ProxiCure Ball lens against the interproximal wall of the band; do not submerge in composite. (Not yet available for VALO Grand light.)</p>

</strong>​VALO Cordless and VALO Grand lights are powered by two rechargeable lithium ion phosphate batteries.</p>

</strong><span style="font-size: 16px">​This unit recharges the VALO light’s lithium ion phosphate batteries so you can avoid the waste and extra cost of disposable batteries. The battery charger is suitable for power outlets from 100 to 240 volts.</span></p>
