Class II div 2 malocclusion. Upper left canine in infra occlusion position. Posterior crossbite on right side. Extrusion of upper left first molar. Midline deviated to the right side. Class II div 2 malocclusion. Upper left canine in infra occlusion position. Posterior crossbite on right side. Extrusion of upper left first molar. Midline deviated to the right side. Sectional mechanics were used on the upper arch using a Utility Arch made with .016 x .016 Blue Elgiloy (E00304). Ricketts Synergy Brackets are being used (KM02615). On the lower arch a Wilson 3D Lingual Arch is used to narrow the transverse dimension in the area of the molars and to unlock the posterior crossbite. This is being achieved with the Utility Arch on the uppers for expansion, and the Wilson 3D Lingual arch for contraction on the lowers. Sectional mechanics were used on the upper arch using a Utility Arch made with .016 x .016 Blue Elgiloy (E00304). Ricketts Synergy Brackets are being used (KM02615). On the lower arch a Wilson 3D Lingual Arch is used to narrow the transverse dimension in the area of the molars and to unlock the posterior crossbite.
